Pos Malaysia partners with Anchanto

Pos Malaysia will be using Anchanto’s warehouse management technology to strengthen and expand its e-fulfilment services, primarily to serve the growing e-commerce business in Malaysia. Anchanto’s electronic warehouse management system will be integrated with Pos Malaysia’s own processes to form an e-commerce fulfilment system.  The new platform will enable Pos Malaysia to provide and end-to-end service for its customers including warehousing and last-mile delivery by Pos Laju. To date, being the leading domestic courier company in Malaysia, Pos Laju currently handles 84.6 million volume of parcels and documents.

Pos Malaysia’s online sellers will also be able to use Anchanto’s SelluSeller, a one-stop platform that enables merchants and enterprises to sell on various e-marketplaces across Asia.

“We’re pleased to be working with Pos Malaysia to provide them with our cross-border e-commerce technology that will help them manage the whole spectrum of services,” said Vaibhav Dabhade, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Anchanto.  “The rapid growth of e-Commerce in Asia means that third-party logistics players such as Pos Malaysia need to modernise to be part of this growth story”.

Pos Malaysia’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh, commented: “Pos Malaysia’s strategic collaboration with Anchanto will strengthen our presence in the e-Fulfilment business. It will enable us to provide and offer a complete range of e-Fulfilment services to our customers such as reliable quality packets and parcel delivery products and services, competitive price and high-level support for warehousing management as well as packet and parcel preparation.”

Pos Malaysia also has an existing transhipment business with China’s e-commerce giant Alibaba.
