Yamato reports parcel volume increase

Japan’s Yamato has reported an increase in small parcel volumes for July. In a statement posted on its website on Friday (4 August), Yamato reported that its TA-Q-Bin service handled a total of 185,702,404 parcels in July, which was up 3.2% on last year. The cumulative volume was 636,552,091 parcels – up 4.5% year-on-year.

Yamatao’s Kuroneko DM-Bin service, which handles advertising and marketing materials, handled 117,858,942 units, which was 0.9% up on last year. Cumulatively, however, the volume was down 0.6% at 502,559,869 units
