Amazon plans to open its second Oregon fulfillment centre (FC) in Salem. The online retailer also recently announced an upcoming FC in Troutdale and it currently operates a sortation centre in Hillsboro and a Prime Now hub in Portland.
Associates at the one million square foot facility in Salem will pick, pack and ship larger customer items, such as sports equipment, gardening tools, and pet food.
