DHL awarded contract to manage BMW’s UK vehicle distribution centre
Inside Track, DHL Supply Chain’s specialist automotive sales and marketing services business, has been awarded a new three-year contract to manage BMW Group’s UK vehicle preparation and refurbishment services at Thorne, near Doncaster. Under the contract, DHL will provide fleet management and technical services in support of the BMW Group company car fleet and Customer Experience evaluation fleet in the UK.
The new service includes fleet administration, valeting, preparation and refurbishment of vehicles using the latest techniques to optimise repair times. DHL will also provide specialist repair services including vehicles with carbon fibre bodies.
