La Poste and SUEZ set up new office waste collection company

Le Groupe La Poste and SUEZ have teamed up to create a new company that will collect and recover office waste. In a statement issued today (4 September), La Poste said the company will offer a unique solution for office waste to all its customers in mainland France, “regardless of their size and sector of activity”.

The French postal operator said: “With its Recy’Go offer, La Poste has developed an innovative model, based on circular and solidarity economics. Used office paper and cardboard is collected, then sorted by “Nouvelle Attitude”, a professional integration subsidiary of La Poste, and by partners from Social and Solidarity Economy. Materials are then sold in France for recycling.”

The project is subject to the prior approval of the French competition authority.
