Exel wins 3 contracts

Exel announced a new logistics contract with Chunghwa Picture Tubes UK, for the storage and delivery of 46 in plasma screens stored as replacement parts. The service makes use of Exel’s courier service. It cuts costs and cycle time, Chunghwa logistics manager Jim Smith says.
Exel has won a new contract to handle the European logistics for American Tool Companies. Under the contract Exel will provide inbound sea freight and distribution to 17 European countries
Exel has been awarded a £1.3m a year contract by Oxford University Press to provide global freight management services. The contract was secured following a tendering process.
