Nightspeed get Golden Casket Group contract

Nightspeed Secure Worldwide Express won the £250,000 contract to deliver leading brands of sweets for the Golden Casket Group. Some 350 parcels per day of ‘Millions’ tiny chewy sweets and ‘Trillions’ chocolates in crispy crunchy shells will be delivered to agents, franchisees, retail wholesalers and cash and carry outlets throughout the UK.

The deliveries will include other Golden Casket Group products, which are packed in jars, gift jars, pre packed, tubes and mini tubes.

Ian Devins at Golden Casket said: ‘Nightspeed’s excellent Scottish coverage and the company’s ability to deliver on time and securely to the outer reaches of the Scottish Highlands as well as including a wide delivery area across other parts of Scotland and Northern England, showed the regional strength of the group and was a major factor in securing the win.’

Ian Pickford, managing director, Nightspeed Secure Worldwide Express, said: ‘We are delighted to be working with Golden Casket in the development of the company’s distribution requirements and look forward to a partnership for years to come.

‘Our ability to offer a flexible yet highly secure service sets us apart from express parcel competitors and we are committed to continuous improvement and developing our service offering alongside Golden Casket to ensure that their customers come first every time.’

Nightspeed has a turnover of around £40 million and supports some 2,700 customers through its 22 depots throughout the UK.
