Deliv launches same-day prescriptions delivery service
US-based crowdsourced last mile specialist Deliv has launched a same-day prescription delivery service, Deliv Rx.
The service, which was officially launched yesterday (8 February), is starting off by offering delivery of prescriptions for select Walgreens, as well as Kay Pharmacy, Phil, Phox Health, Rancho Park and others.
Deliv Rx will charge the retailer/pharmacy a pre-negotiated delivery fee. The pharmacy then decides what to charge its customers, and they can also choose the delivery speed, including 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours or same day.
In order to ensure security and confidentiality, the Deliv Rx service also includes features such as: photo ID verification; age verification; signature at delivery; real-time GPS tracking; HIPPA certified delivery specialists.
