Email service improves communication between road haulage operators and customers

Transport management technology specialists, Mandata Ltd, have launched a new TMS email service which automatically sends an email directly to customers informing them of any important issues or a change in job status.

Specifically developed for the road haulage sector, the email status service is the latest added value feature from Mandata designed to provide TMS users with greater flexibility and enhanced control, enabling operators to set-up and start sending notifications quickly and automatically to key contacts.

Emails can be specifically tailored and triggered to keep operators’ customers fully informed of progress around collections and deliveries, improving levels of service and quality control.

The new service is part of a package integrated TMS technology from Mandata to simplify the management of deliveries for hauliers. These bring together operational information into PC or cloud-based systems which link to vehicle and driver smartphones out on the road.

Mandata technology, which can simplify the planning of work, and track operations and monitor driver behaviour and vehicle performance levels, automates critical processes, eliminating time-consuming repetitive tasks, providing fleet visibility in real-time and alerting operators and drivers to any issued with one connected system.
