Lombard goes to Liverpool

Ipswich-based Lombard Shipping began operating the Liverpool region for Fortec at the start of September. The firm set up LP Pallets just four months after launching IP Pallets to cover the Ipswich region for Fortec. Business development manager Dave Skates says: “It’s going excellently. The volumes are building, we are inputting 20-30 pallets a night in Liverpool, and taking out 10-20. We are so pleased and would welcome the opportunity to take additional franchises.” The Liverpool operation is being managed by Lombards’s existing team based in Huyton, the hub of its daily Irish services.
