Austrian Post strenghtens its parcel locker network
The demand for flexible and contactless parcel delivery solutions continues to rise – especially in high-traffic locations. As part of their collaboration, KEBA and Austrian Post have installed another 24/7 post station at Lentia City, a central shopping and service hub in Linz Urfahr, Upper Austria.
Equipped with 28 modules and 295 compartments, the new locker – put into operation this spring – significantly increases the site’s parcel capacity. It perfectly complements the existing station with 22 modules and 287 compartments, which has been in use since autumn 2017.
Customers and delivery personnel benefit from the expanded storage space, which allows for more flexible and convenient use – even during peak parcel volumes. In total, 582 compartments are now available at Lentia City, offering a greatly increased capacity for daily parcel handling.
Whether before shopping, during lunch break or late at night – the new post station in Lentia City is accessible around the clock in the indoor area next to the post office branch. It ideally supplements the original locker, which has been operating successfully for years. Together, the two stations offer even more convenience and flexibility, enabling parcel pickup to be seamlessly integrate into everyday routines without stress or time pressure.
