Brazilian Post to make Smart investment

Brazilian Post is set to equip its delivery workers with smartphones. According to reports, the postal organisation will invest in 1,800 smartphones for its couriers.

The devices will include a Java application that alerts the company when the courier’s parcels have been delivered.

Delivery confirmation will also be sent free of charge by SMS to customers.

The post hopes to roll-out the scheme nationally next year, after an initial trial in Bauru.
