Business Express prepares to fight back

Business Express is vowing to pull back a 5% slump in parent Littlewoods home shopping sales in the year to April 30. General Manager Mick Janicki says the slump was caused because of an aggressive marketplace with the emergence of discount firms such as Matalan. Janicki says that the home shopping figures will improve following completion of the final phase of new warehousing systems at the Shaw home shopping national distribution centre. This will allow quicker pick and packing of customers orders. Business Express saw a 40% growth in commercial income last year.
