Deutsche Post, Bertelsmann Ad Mail Deal

Deutsche Post (G.DPW) wants to become a partner in Bertelsmann’s (G.BRT) business of processing advertising mail, in exchange for handling the media giant’s packaging and distribution of compact discs and mobile phones, Wirtschafts Woche (Germany) reports. Whether the partnership will involve taking a stake in the companies or be based on a contract hasn’t been decided yet, the magazine reports. Bertelsmann and Deutsche declined to comment, Wirtschafts adds.
