Geodis opens Northampton hub

Geodis has opened a hub in Northampton to centralise its European network operations. All existing import/export line haul activities are being transferred from High Wycombe, Birmingham and Lutterworth. The Lutterworth network branch has also moved to Northampton.

The existing Geodis network sites across the UK will continue to serve their areas. The Geodis full load and logistics business lines will also remain the same.

The 50,000 square foot facility is located on the Lodge Farm Industrial Estate.

Jamie Cuthbert, the managing director of Geodis UK, commented: “This move forms part of exciting plans to restructure our network within the UK and to further grow our business and develop existing sites for the benefit of our customers.”
