FedEx Pilots’ Tentative Agreement now available on ALPA website

An electronic version of the “tentative agreement” between FedEx and the FedEx pilots’ Master Executive Council (MEC) is now available on the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) website. As one would expect, the TA is a complicated document. Indeed, in his message to the FedEx pilots posted yesterday (1 September), Captain Chuck Dyer, the Chair of the MEC, warned: “The various sections have numerous changes, and it will take considerable effort on your part to comprehend many of those changes.”

Having said that, the key points appear to be a 10% pay increase this year and raises averaging around 3% for the subsequent years of the proposed six-year contract.

The TA also includes proposals for various bonuses. The ALPA will be taking the agreement to its members for ratification from 28 September through to 20 October, according to sources.
