MetaPack reports 46% jump in Black Friday deliveries

MetaPack has reported that close to a million parcels – or 963,754, to be precise – were processed across its e-commerce delivery platform over the course of Black Friday. The company said that this represented “a huge increase of 46%” on the 660,155 parcels processed in 2014.

The MetaPack e-commerce platform integrates 300 carriers and postal operators and 3,500 services, enabling retailers to send their goods to customers in more than 200 countries and territories.

For the week ending 29th November, added MetaPack, growth increased from 27% in 2014 to 39% in 2015.
