Hermes planning for growth

Hermes has reported that it saw a 15% increase in its volume of household goods shipments in Germany in 2015 and it is planning for further growth this year. Hermes plans to move into its new German hub facility in April, and it also intends to extend its network of 43 depots.

In a statement issued today (12 January), the company focused in particular on its expectations from the household goods and large appliances sector which has seen significant growth recently. As a result, Hermes expects to ramp up its two-man delivery capabilities over the coming year.
