Hermes and Starship to run robot delivery tests

Hermes plans to run tests using Startship Technologies’ robots for package deliveries in Germany later this summer. Starship Technologies, which has offices in Tallinn and London, has also been running tests in the London borough of Greenwich – which is also the location for the government-supported Greenwich Automated Transport  Environment (GATEway) project for driver-less cars.

Earlier this week, German media revealed that Starship Technologies’ robots had also been used as automated shopping aids in a pilot test conducted at a Metro Group store in Dusseldorf.
