Dropit partners with Covent Garden’s Capco

“Hands-free shopping” service provider Dropit has agreed a new partnership with property development company Capco which will expand its coverage in London’s Covent Garden.

Launched in 2015, the Dropit service enables shoppers to buy a “day pass” for £10, and then have all their purchases made from multiple participating stores in London collated and delivered to their door at their preferred time.

Kelly Scott, head of partnerships at Dropit, told Post&Parcel this morning that around 100 retailers are now participating in the programme. Shoppers can arrange next day or same day delivery (depending on the time of purchase), or opt for an alternative day of their choosing. The delivery address can be anywhere in the UK. Scott told us that Dropit works with “multiple delivery partners”.

Commenting on the Capco partnership, Scott said: “We are delighted to be in partnership with Capco to put us on the map in another prominent shopping hub in London. Working with a property owner like Capco cements our value proposition as a must-have service that’s quick and easy for retailers to implement and more importantly delivers results.”

Retailers currently partnering with Dropit include: Liberty London, M&S, GAP, Uniqlo, Superdry, Urban Outfitters, Nickelodeon, Barbour, G-Star RAW, Stuart Weitzman, Michael Kors, Anthropologie, French Connection, Coach, Hanro, Lacoste, lululemon, Moss Bros, Karen Millen and River Island.
