That’s the question that has exercised almost every home shopper at one time or another; and if it troubles them, it troubles the e-tailers just as much. Pioneers soon realised they risked losing face, and business, if they didn’t get their returns policy right. Far from all of them have grasped this nettle adequately so far; but at least most of them seem now to have recognised the need to do so.
