Deutsche Post Global Mail and its partners have just launched the GLOBALMATCH mail distribution service, a cost-effective, fast and secure solution for the bulk transportation of international mail. MATCH stands for Mail Transportation through Consolidation Hubs. By consolidating mail consignments from many different mail streams, GLOBALMATCH is able to obtain bulk transportation rates at more advantageous prices than the individual operators could negotiate for themselves. According to Klaus Knappik, Chairman of Deutsche Post Global Mail, “Cost efficiency, reliability and innovation characterize our approach to manage the ‘mail logistics chain’ together with our partners in the transportation and mail world.”
