Five Bulgarian banks will open desks in the post offices under an agreement with the Bulgarian Posts they signed on March 1, 2006. The five banks are DSK Bank, Investbank, Corporate Commercial Bank, Economic Investment Bank and Allianz Commercial Bank. The five banks were offered same terms of operation in the 1,200 post offices across the country. The Bulgarian Posts will get half of the commission fees for the banking operations.

General Overnight Service (Deutschland) GmbH, Bonn, attributes this positive development to the quality and growth strategies of the courier service, which was founded in 1984. “GO! has grown on the basis of its own strengths, pursues high quality standards and is in an excellent position regionally, nationally and internationally. For the newly-begun business year we have the aim of once more increasing shipping volumes significantly. I am sure that we will achieve this,” says Mr Dierks.
The course has already been set, with stronger international expansion driven forward by the creation of further GO stations in Europe, and by the extension of the international cooperation network.
