The Swedish Postal service is developing an e-postbox, designed to be a hybrid or wholly-electronic post box. The service is part of a change in the posts direction towards electronic services and is designed to enable businesses and government to send bills, pay-slips, forms and marketing information to individuals.

Oct 25, 2001 (NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT via COMTEX) — Sweden will not increase the postage fees at the start of next year.
Posten AB, the Swedish postal service, had reportedly requested that the rules for the postage be changed to better reflect current costs. If this had been approved, the cost of sending a so-called A-letter, which can weigh up to 20 grammes and is to be delivered the following day, would have been increased by SEK0.5, reported TT, a Swedish news agency.
