DHL UAE, the Emirates leading air express provider, has launched a unique customer loyalty programme in response to extensive market demand. Key brands within the Emirates have tied up with DHL’s express Altitude scheme to deliver benefits on airline tickets, shopping as well as leisure activity vouchers.
“What sets Altitude apart is that this is the only, ongoing, long-term loyalty product available locally within the air express industry,” said David Wild, General Manager, DHL UAE.

Emirates Post and Deutsche Post sign MOU for enhanced cooperation

Emirates Post and Deutsche Post have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore enhanced business cooperation between the two postal corporations, including expanded scope for the Emirates Post’s international mail transit hub located at Dubai International Airport.

In addition to expanding the scope of the Emirates Post mail transit hub, the two sides agreed to explore the possibilities of Emirates Post using Deutsche Post’s mail hub facilities based in Frankfurt.

Emirates Post's net profit crosses Dhs 100 Million

Emirates Post today announced a profit of Dhs 100 million for the year 2002, an increase of 11 per cent over the previous year, on revenues of Dhs. 243.7 million.

The results were announced at a press conference attended by Mr. Abdulla Ahmed Lootah, Undersecretary, Ministry of Communications and Mr. Abdulla Al Daboos, Director General of Emirates Post.

The corporation has projected a profit of Dhs. 110 million for the year 2003 and allocated Dhs. 78.4 million for developmental and expansion projects across the UAE.
