UK Postwatch welcomes Crozier commitment to quality

Against a background of profound and sustained customer concern with Royal Mail’s delivery performance, Postwatch welcomes Adam Crozier assuming personal responsibility for resolving the Company’s problems.

Peter Carr, Chairman of Postwatch commenting on the appointment said, ” Adam must return pride to Royal Mail’s workforce and confidence to the customers. His commitment to a ‘quality approach’ is absolutely right.

“Adam will be judged a success if this year Royal Mail at least meet all of their 15 minimum licence targets, substantially reduce the amount of lost mail from the current levels of 1 million items a month and achieve delivery times acceptable to customers. The public does not want its mail delivered after lunch!”
