Milestone for pallet firm

THE 1.5 millionth pallet handled by Fortec Pallet, one of the nation’s leading pallet distribution networks, has passed through its Rugby hub.

Phill Vann, night hub manager, was on hand as forklift driver Kelly Slater loaded the 1.5 millionth pallet on to the trailer driven by Alison Stead.

Rod Abrahams, managing director of Fortec Pallet, said: “To reach 1.5 million pallets is a major milestone for Fortec Pallet.

“The network continues to grow rapidly in terms of throughput, with about 2,500 pallets handled every night, while still retaining the quality of service for which Fortec is renowned in the industry.

“We continue to add to our network of licences with experienced hauliers with the same quality ethos, further expanding our reach and ability to offer a fast and efficient service to companies in all sectors.”
