Amazon opens UK shop selling most loved items

Amazon has opened its doors to the first Amazon 4-star store outside of the U.S., which offers a curated range of products that are rated 4 stars and above, are top sellers, or are trending on Amazon.co.uk. The store is located in Bluewater, just southeast of central London.

Customers can purchase from the millions of items available at Amazon.co.uk online and collect orders at the store as soon as the next day. The store also offers convenient parcel-free, label-free returns for items purchased both in store and online. When requesting the return for the item through Amazon.co.uk or the Amazon app, customers can select Amazon 4-star as the return method at no extra cost.

Amazon 4-star is a direct reflection of what customers are buying and loving on Amazon.co.uk. It carries products from the top categories across Amazon.co.uk including consumer electronics, toys, games, books, kitchen, home, and more. Customers will also find the full range of Amazon devices in the store, including Kindle e-Readers, Fire Tablets, and Echo Dots.

Unique to Amazon 4-star, customers can shop some of Amazon.co.uk’s most loved items by browsing sections such as ‘Most Wished For’ (popular products from ‘Wish Lists’), ‘Trending in Bluewater’ (items local customers are loving), and ‘Most Gifted’ (top items ordered as gifts).

“The Amazon 4-star store is a great place for customers to discover hot new releases, guaranteed page-turners, top-selling electronics, and more,” said Andy Jones, director, Amazon 4-star, UK. “Every part of the store is designed with our customers in mind and we think they will be delighted by the curated selection of the most-loved products at great prices, opportunity to test drive Amazon’s latest devices, and the convenience of pickup and returns.”

Digital price tags are located alongside each product with the item price, average star rating, and the number of customer reviews, enabling customers to make more informed purchases.

Customers can pay with cash, credit card or through the Amazon app using the 4-star QR code at checkout.
