Spanish express operator MRW grows 9% in 2005

Spanish express operator MRW has announced growth of nine per cent to revenues of just under €517 million for 2005.

The Barcelona-based company said it expanded its franchise network with 31 new outlets, ending the year with 737 franchises in Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Gibraltar. MRW also opened six new logistics terminals, taking the number of such facilities to 37. In terms of products, MRW introduced a 48-hour service in Portugal.
