Posti updating parcel delivery and packaging prices in June

Finland’s Posti has announced that, ‘due a general rise in cost levels’; it will be adjusting its prices for parcel deliveries and packaging materials from 1 June.

The new prices will apply in the OmaPosti app and at Posti’s service points.

The new prices for domestic parcels will be:

S-Plus: 8.90€ (+1.00€)

M-Plus: 10.90€ (+1.00€)

L-Plus: 14.90€ (+1.00€)

XL: 15.90€ (+2.00€)

Serial parcel prices will also change. The price per parcel will increase by 20 cents in the 5-piece set and decrease by 10 cents in the 10-piece set. The 15-piece set will be discontinued.

Posti added that it will be unifying the prices of parcels sent to Åland, which will mean that ‘some prices will decrease, others will increase’.

New prices to Åland:

S: 10.90€ (-1.00€)

M: 12.90€ (-1.00€)

M+:14.90€ (-1.00€)

L: 14.90€ (-1.00€)

L+: 18.90€ (+1.00€)

XL: 19.90€ (+2.00€)

XXL: 23.90€ (+1.00€)

XXL+: 53.90€ (+11.00€)

Posti is also increasing the prices of Cash on Delivery and notice of arrival in paper form and decreasing the price for storage period extension.

New prices are used at service points, OmaPosti and posti.fi/send.

New prices of additional services:

Cash on Delivery: 9.90€ (+4.40€)

Notice of arrival in paper form: 3.90€ (+2.00€)

Storage period extension: 1.90€ (-1.00€)

In term of packaging materials, box prices will increase as follows:

Small Parcel and S: 20 cents

M and L: 40 cents

XL: 60 cents

Mailbag prices will increase as follows:

Mailbag S: 40 cents

Mailbag XXS and M: 50 cents

Bubble bag prices will increase by 70 cents

Carton bag prices will increase by 20 cents
