Austrian Post: agreement reached in salary negotiations.

All employees of Österreichische Post AG will receive a salary increase of 6.45 percent (from 1 January 2025) and a net bonus of up to EUR 1,200 before the end of this year. This was agreed by the company’s management and the Postal and Telecommunications Workers’ Union (GPF) after several rounds of negotiations.

The percentage increase will take effect from 1 January 2025. For the months of July to December 2024, each full-time employee will receive a tax-free cost-of-living bonus of 200 euros per month, for a total of 1,200 euros, as a net payment. Part-time employees in an aliquot amount. Apprentices receive a tax-free cost-of-living bonus of 70 euros per month, for a total of 420 euros, as a net payment.

For apprentices, whose remuneration will also be increased by 6.45 per cent from 1 January 2025, it has also been agreed that the gross monthly compensation in the first year of apprenticeship will be 1,000 euros.

From 1 January 2025, the night shift fee for Swiss Post employees will be increased by up to 20.45 percent.

These increases are subject to the approval of the Supervisory Board of Austrian Post AG and the Union of Postal and Telecommunications Employees until 30 June 2025.
