YEEP! and Tesco partner to roll out parcel lockers across 30 locations

YEEP! has announced a new partnership with retailer Tesco, following the successful completion of a trial phase.

The rollout will see YEEP!’s solar-powered lockers installed at 30 key Tesco locations, with further expansion planned subject to performance and customer feedback. The partnership aims to make parcel collection and returns accessible and convenient for Tesco shoppers.

The Tesco partnership adds fresh momentum to YEEP!’s broader expansion strategy, which spans retail destinations, transport hubs, residential areas and community locations nationwide. With more than 3,000 lockers now live, YEEP! continues with its ambition to build one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing open parcel locker networks, increasing access to out-of-home delivery services for communities across the country.

The lockers are designed to slot into existing shopping routines; accessible 24/7, they allow shoppers to collect, send or return parcels alongside a regular Tesco visit while helping to reduce the risk of missed home deliveries. By consolidating deliveries to secure centralised locations, the initiative is also expected to reduce vehicle trips and cut associated congestion and emissions.

Commenting on the announcement, Jamie Dickinson CEO, YEEP!, said: “We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Tesco to roll out YEEP! parcel lockers across their store network. As one of the UK’s most trusted retailers, Tesco shares our commitment to convenience, accessibility, and community presence, making this a significant milestone for YEEP!.

This partnership marks an important step in our mission to make parcel delivery and returns simpler, smarter, and more accessible. By placing YEEP! lockers at Tesco locations, we are meeting customers where they already shop and providing secure, convenient parcel services that fit seamlessly into their daily routines.

Together, we are creating meaningful value for both organisations, supporting Tesco’s already strong customer experience, and driving additional footfall, while accelerating YEEP!’s national expansion. Most importantly, this collaboration makes sending, collecting, and returning parcels easier than ever for customers.

We are excited about what this partnership represents today and the opportunities it creates for the future.”
