YEEP! to drive service delivery as UK locker network scales

YEEP!, an open parcel locker operator, has appointed Ella Layton as Director of Service Delivery as it continues to strengthen its senior team, business partnerships and operational capabilities for the next phase of growth in the UK out-of-home market.

Ella joins YEEP! from Norsk Global with more than a decade of experience in supply chain and logistics, with particular expertise in customer operations and transformation. She also brings extensive experience of working with carriers and logistics partners, combining an understanding of their operational and commercial priorities with a track record of developing processes and solutions that enhance the end-to-end customer experience.

In her new role, Layton will lead YEEP!’s service delivery strategy, shaping a scalable, customer-led service proposition for consumers and partners as the company expands its open locker network. A central part of Layton’s approach will be using customer insight and operational data to guide the continued development of YEEP!’s service, while working across the business and with its partners to create an increasingly joined-up experience.

Her appointment comes as the UK out-of-home delivery market continues to develop, with parcel lockers becoming an increasingly established part of the delivery and returns landscape.  Alongside network reach, reliability, ease of use and the ability to deliver a seamless experience for consumers, carriers and retailers are becoming increasingly important differentiators.

For YEEP!, this means ensuring its service proposition develops alongside its growing physical network, combining technology, operations and strong partner relationships to deliver a simple and dependable locker experience at scale.

Ella Layton, Director of Service Delivery at YEEP!, said: “What attracted me to YEEP! was the combination of the scale of the opportunity and the chance to make a tangible difference at an important stage in the company’s growth.

Parcel lockers are becoming an increasingly important part of the delivery experience, and I believe the networks that ultimately stand out will be those that combine scale with reliability and a genuinely seamless experience.

Consumers want convenience and confidence, carriers need a network that works consistently and efficiently, and retailers increasingly see lockers as part of their wider customer proposition. My role is about bringing those perspectives together and building a service delivery model that is proactive, scalable and customer-led, and one that supports YEEP!’s growth while making us an increasingly valuable partner to work with.”

Jamie Dickinson, CEO of YEEP!, said: “Ella is joining YEEP! at a strategically important point in our development. We have ambitious plans for the network and are continuing to invest in the leadership and capabilities needed to deliver them.

Ella brings a strong combination of logistics experience, customer focus and an understanding of what carriers need operationally and commercially. As the market develops, we believe the quality of the experience will become just as important as network reach, and Ella will play a key role in making that a real strength for YEEP!.”

YEEP! is rapidly expanding its open parcel locker network across the UK, targeting 5,000 locations by the end of 2026 across transport hubs, retail destinations, community spaces and residential sites. Its battery and solar-powered technology enables lockers to be installed quickly and flexibly without the need for a mains electricity connection, opening up a wider range of locations for convenient out-of-home delivery.
