DHL Express to open new express centers in Japan

New partnership with MBE facilitates network expansion.

DHL will open 57 new Express Centers in Japan between 4 and 17 November, bringing the total number of drop-off centers to 134.

The new Express Centers have been established through a partnership with MBE Japan. Fifty-seven service counters operated by Mail Boxes Etc (MBE) Japan will now accept overseas-bound document and package shipments dropped off by DHL Express account holders, offering greater ease of convenience for DHL customers.

Together with the roll-out of Express Centers,, MBE counters will begin offering the DHL’s Simple Pack service, making it even easier for customers to send their shipments. The DHL Simple Pack service offers customers the option of using dedicated packaging items which have fixed shipment fees based on a simplified destination zone instead of on the shipment weight.

DHL Express is now offering services for customers across 134 locations in Japan, comprising three Gateways, 42 Service Centers, 88 Express Centers (and one Business Center.
