Board level changes announced at TNT

Klaver takes on the position of chairman of TNT’s Supervisory Board from January 2009.

As of 1 January 2009 Mr. P.C. Klaver takes on the position of chairman of TNT’s Supervisory Board from which Mr. J.H.M. Hommen will step down.

Piet Klaver is a member of TNT’s Supervisory Board and has been the intended successor of Jan Hommen since the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 11 April 2008.

Mr. Hommen will remain a member of the Supervisory Board until his planned resignation at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 8 April 2009.

Mr. Hommen is stepping down as chairman of the Supervisory Board as of 1 January 2009 to ensure a smooth transition to Mr. Klaver’s commencement as the new chairman.

Mr. Hommen has been chairman of the Supervisory Board since 2005 and a member since 1998.
