Q-Post and QNB in postal services deal

Q-Post will provide comprehensive postal services to the bank.

Qatar National Bank (QNB), the country’s leading bank, and Qatar Postal Corporation (Q-Post) have signed an agreement under which Q-Post will provide comprehensive postal services to the bank.

“We are glad to finalise a deal with QNB which is a major player in banking both in Qatar and the in region. As per the deal that was reached after years of negotiations, Q-Post will deliver QNB’s mails to customers and its branches,” Ali Mohammad Al Ali, Chairman and General Manager of Q-Post, announced at a press conference at Q-Post’s headquarters yesterday.

“Both parties have agreed to deploy ten cars that will deliver around 250,000 mails per month to customers, in addition to mails and parcels among the 45 branches of the bank. We are committed to accomplishing our task efficiently and reassure our partner and customers that their documents are in good hands,” Al Ali said.

Q-Post is rendering the same service to several corporations, of which Qatar Telecom (Qtel) is the biggest. The corporation delivers more than 400,000 mails to Qtel’s customers every month.
