Texas has joined the growing list of states and federal agencies that trust DHL Global Mail for secure, cost-effective delivery of their mail and small parcels.
The state of Texas recently awarded DHL Global Mail a 4-year contract for domestic and international shipping and mailing. In Texas, the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) strongly encourages all state agencies to contract with vendors that represent the best value for the state.
“At DHL Global Mail, we are honored that so many government entities choose us to provide their shipping and mailing services,” said Lee Spratt, CEO of DHL Global Mail – Americas. “It is a privilege to serve these public agencies -and, in turn, the public itself-by providing reliable mail delivery with significant cost savings.”
During the competitive bidding process for the Texas contract, DHL Global Mail emerged as the “Prime Vendor” in 98% of the shipping and mailing categories considered. DHL Global Mail ultimately prevailed over the other bidders in part because of its cost-effective rates, more extensive product line and faster transit times. (With DHL Global Mail’s Expedited service level, customers receive nationwide delivery of mail and small parcels in 2-5 days.)
It is through this same combination – savings, services and speed – that DHL Global Mail offers unmatched solutions for high-volume mailers of all kinds, including not only government agencies but also businesses across a wide variety of industries.
