DHL promotes Jordan as a global tourist destination

The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) has signed an agreement with DHL Express to help promote Jordan as a tourism destination.

The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) has signed an agreement with DHL Express to help promote Jordan as a tourism destination.

Under the agreement, signed by JTB managing director Nayef Al-Fayez and DHL Express general manager Turgay Sarikaya, DHL will place a sticker of Petra, printed, paid for and provided by JTB, on all outbound shipments and packages from Jordan for an entire year starting on 15 April 2009.

Also under the agreement, the JTB will place a logo of DHL on its Calendar of Events website during the same period.

Al-Fayez said: “This agreement will provide a new and valuable window to promote Jordan as a unique tourist destination.”
