DHL Volunteer Day in full swing in Fiji

DHL has held a Volunteer Day in Fiji to promote the spirit of volunteerism among employees. 60 DHL employees in both Suva and Nadi gave their time to the community.

In Suva , DHL staff painted at John Wesley Primary School and cleaned up the school grounds, plus in Nadi staff collected rubbish and cleaned up the Newtown beach area and also planted trees.

The volunteer day is a global program with involves all staff over two weeks in September giving back to their community.

Nick Taylor, general manager for DHL Express said the DHL Volunteer Day aimed to inculcate spirit of volunteerism among employees and encourage them to continue with volunteer activities beyond DHL Volunteer Day.
