EU says Belgium La Poste statement ‘issued by mistake’, to be ‘disregarded’

The European Commission said the statement it made this midday about Belgium’s La Poste should be disregarded as it “was issued by mistake.”

AFX News reported the story as “EU files anti-trust objections against Belgian postal operator La Poste.”
The Commission said it “regrets this mistake and apologises to the company and to the press for any invonvenience.”
The Commission spokesman’s office declined to comment further.
