IPC and EPFL form partnership

The Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the International Post Corporation (IPC), have entered into an academic and professional cooperation. The purpose of this cooperation is to combine the strength and expertise of both organisations in order to promote academic postal research.

EPFL will contribute through its outstanding academic reputation and scientific excellence, its expertise in postal research and the area of management training, its experience in the organisation of academic postal events and its Executive Master Program in Postal Management.

IPC will contribute through its extensive experience and know-how in the postal industry. IPC demonstrates expertise in postal operations, quality of service and technology, innovation, market research, regulatory research, intercompany pricing and corporate social responsibility programs for the postal industry. IPC is also uniquely qualified to identify the needs of postal providers and recognise the key issues affecting of the postal industry.

The cooperation will consist of the promotion of common research activities, a focus on management and leadership training opportunities as well as a partnership in the organisation of an academic postal conference. EPFL and IPC enter into this cooperation for an initial period of two years.
