Competition investigation: Denmark

According to reports in the Danish daily newspaper, Berlingske Tidende, the countrys competition authority is to investigate the practices of Post Danmark. At the request of the National Audit Office the authority will look into the methods with which Post Danmark finances its activities in the competitive sector – among other things. The investigation was brought about by the Euro 10.7million losses accumulated over the last two years by the posts competing business sector MailHouse which provides enveloping and stamping letters for private companies.
