Bosnian federal premier urges post, telecom demerger

Federation Prime Minister Alija Behmen has instructed relevant federal bodies urgently to complete the work on separating the post office and telecommunications, the two operators in the Federation, in order to carry out preparations as soon as possible for transformation tenders. A fast and simple process of partial privatization through auction of the existing telecom companies is the only way of protecting the interests of Bosnia-Hercegovina citizens, Prime Minister Behmen said.
