BPCS Transend deal denied

The last issue of Post Express reported an imminent takeover deal by Transend of the British Postal Consultancy Service (BPCS). Sources close to Post Express now say the deal fell through at the 11th hour. Despite clear indications this was the case, marketing and business planning Manager for BPCS, Melanie Turner said: Talks have taken place to look at the way the 2 consultancy companies can work together, but the takeover was never on the agenda.
