HSBC and Poste Italiane form money transfer alliance

“We are an ideal partner for any type of cross-order business for Italian companies that want to seize opportunities in countries that drive the growth of the global economy,” HSBC’s Italy Chief Executive Officer Marzio Perrelli said, according to the Italian newspaper, also citing his counterpart at Poste Italiane.

BancoPosta account holders can transfer money outside the euro area using HSBC’s network. HSBC has also presented a joint offer to the Indian government, which is seeking a partner for pre-paid cards at its post offices, Il Sole reported.
