myWarehouse relocates operations

myWarehouse, the B2C order fulfilment company, has relocated its UK warehouse operation to a new site at Heathfield Industrial Estate in Milton Keynes. The fulfilment centre offers four times the capacity of the previous facility in Bedford, enabling myWarehouse to handle a number of recent business wins and provide the necessary space for future growth.

As part of the process, myWarehouse has developed a bespoke fulfilment management system, including a voice picking solution, which has been designed to reduce footfall, increase productivity and avoid errors.

Richard Tucker from myWarehouse said: “The new fulfilment centre provides the necessary capacity to provide a quality solution to new and existing customers. We selected this site because it matches the company’s growth strategy moving forward and we are already looking at adding a mezzanine floor that will further boost the storage space.”
