Spring launches new services portfolio
Spring Global Mail has launched four made-to-measure returns solutions designed to improve businesses’ after-sales service to their consumers. Spring says that its products – Spring Returns, Spring Repair/Replace, Spring Recall and Spring Recycle – are efficient and cost-effective services.
The returns solutions are supported by three services levels depending on how fast and visible the returns need to be. Economy is the most basic and cost effective option; Insight offers track & trace, whilst Advance offers a dedicated pick up and express option for high-value goods. For all service levels, the returns are free of charge to the sender, and products of any weight and size can be returned.
“Research shows that good after-sales service has a positive impact on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty,” said Mark Eldridge, managing director of Spring’s Reverse Logistics operations. “It is vital, therefore, that companies manage their Reverse Logistics as well as they would all other aspects of their business. By using Spring’s four tailor-made solutions for differing returns needs, they can differentiate themselves from their competitors, increase consumer loyalty and boost market share by establishing a professional reverse logistics process. Working with Spring also means only dealing with one service supplier for the entire product range and having access to features and benefits not available in a standard postal returns service.”
Spring Returns is a service for distance sellers, such as internet-based retailers, who need to be able to offer customers an easy mechanism to return recently-purchased products that do not suit their needs.
Spring Repair/Returns takes care of those goods already in use by consumers but which need to be repaired or replaced if they break. Spring Recall is a solution designed specifically for when a business finds it necessary to recall a product for hazardous reasons. Spring Recycle is a solution that businesses can offer their consumers for when their products reach the end of their life-cycle.
