Million up for Collect+

Collect+, the parcel delivery and returns service jointly-owned by PayPoint and Yodel, is now running at a volume rate of one million parcels per annum. The alternative parcel service continues to “grow rapidly as almost half its customers enjoy the convenience of posting parcels outside traditional opening hours”, a statement said.

On the retail side, Collect+ has seen a sharp increase in its client base since May, adding major fashion brands such as ASOS, New Look, and MandM Direct.com to its roster.

As a result of this success, it expects to expand its network of stores – already over 3,400 – by a further 15% in early 2011.

CEO Mark Lewis said: “We have quickly moved from start-up to scale. More than 30,000 consumers per week are now relying on our services – enjoying the benefits of collecting and sending parcels locally, at a time that suits them. Having developed partnerships with leading retail brands, we are now poised to expand our network further to enhance the service we offer small-scale retailers and ordinary parcel senders.”
