Magyar Posta launches new delivery services

Magyar Posta has improved its offering by introducing two new registered services. The operator has said that they will now offer a signature service, called ‘not deliverable through letterbox’.

For items that will not pass through a letterbox, the recipient can only receive their mail in return for a signature.

At the request of the sender, the deliverer can leave a notice in the addressee’s letterbox.

Another new Posta service is the so-called ‘two delivery attempts’.

After a first, unsuccessful delivery attempt, Magyar Posta will attempt to deliver registered letters posted a second time on the following working day.

The price of the ‘not deliverable through letterbox’ service is HUF 10 and the ‘two delivery attempts’ service costs HUF 25.

Magyar Posta is also simplifying the receipt of domestic registered items addressed to post office boxes.
