Amako to lead NX Framework growth

Lloyd Amako has been appointed business development manager at DA Systems’ mobile data solution, NX Framework. UK-based DA Systems is a supplier of software solutions throughout the transportation, logistics and service delivery sectors.

The company said it has witnessed a steady increase in demand for IT solutions, centred on mobile applications for enterprise business processes, throughout the service industry.

Amako will be responsible for developing NX Framework sales and managing those relationships both in the UK and abroad.

He joins DA Systems from holding a consulting assignment with creative marketing agency, Voodoo.

Commenting on his new challenge, Amako said: “DA Systems has been going from strength to strength with its NX Framework solution.

“NX Framework meets the increasing demands from end-users; it allows better access to a more comprehensive range of enterprise applications, across a wider collection of mobile devices.”

As set out in its Worldwide Mobile Worker Population 2009-2013 Forecast, IDC expects the global mobile worker population to increase to more than 1.2bn in 2013, ensuring that mobility continues to play a key role in enabling companies to achieve greater productivity worldwide.

David Upton managing director, DA Systems said: “A common issue for businesses today is the lack of internal resources able to support mobile solutions, so, the demand for outsourced services and managed applications is heightened. This has arisen because many potential operators of enterprise mobility solutions have significantly downsized their IT departments over the past year. The recent personnel investments that we have made at DA Systems, shows our continued commitment in alleviating this particular issue and delivering sustainable business value to our customers.”
